sneak peek......{thanksgiving printables!!}

i thought i'd share with you a sneak peek of the thanksgiving printable collection!
this collection will include an invitation, a menu card, a 5x7" decorative sign, tent cards, a banner, drink flags and 2" circle logos, most of which can be personalized..

i struggled a bit with the design of this collection.
sometimes, a full design will come to mind for a printable collection....
but this time i had only a general idea.
the work stopped and started and stopped again as i wrestled with color and the background.
i  wanted a 'nod' to the season without being obvious....
i wanted a classic design to fit into both a casual AND a more formal table setting....
and i wanted the collection to work with almost any color scheme.
most importantly, given the current circumstances in my life and those around me, i really wanted to emphasize the focus on blessings and thankfulness.

voilá! as soon as i'd figured out the text color, it all came together
(at least i think so - i'll let you be the judge)

the collection will soon be available in "the shoppe". so, what do you think? did i accomplish all i'd hoped?

remember how i mentioned exploring other talents?

here i go! :-)

i'm not quite sure why i decided to make these prints.

the idea came to me so i just went with it!

i'm in love with them. the whimsy, the inspiration, the touch of vintage........

and i had so much fun creating them!!

it's been some time since i've sat down to work with a sense of anticipation instead of the feel of obligation...

i'm really enjoying the path i'm on at the moment.

these will be available in the shop shortly - i just want to test the colors (and a new printer!) - and i haven't yet decided if they'll be offered as a set or individually........

maybe both!

sneak peek!

hey, y'all! i've been a busy little beaver - working on new designs for "the shoppe", getting little man ready for 1st grade (yikes!! where does the time go??) and doing some volunteer work at my church.

i'm still designing, crafting and volunteering but wanted to take a moment and give you a sneak peek of what's coming next! i've made the decision to move at least a part of my bonhomie bridal suite items over to "the shoppe" and i've got a few new designs, this time with color!

i'll be offering pantone color matching for these logos/monograms. what do you think?

this is the "bowtie" collection and there's all sorts of coordinated goodness in "the shoppe" and then some!

(can you tell i've been slightly enamored with the turquoise as of late?)

new "shoppe"!!!

i'm very excited to announce bonhomieEVENTS - the shoppe!

with every event that i style, one of my favorite parts has been designing the papergoods so.......

now i get to design all the papergoods i want, event or not! ;-)

the first collection in the shoppe is called "happy elephant". 

"happy elephant" was designed with a very special little girl in mind for her first birthday. the elephant was modeled after a piece of art from her great-grandmother that's hanging in the nursery.

i'm in the midst of designing two additional collections - one for a baby shower and the other for an adult party - which should both be in the shoppe soon.

if you have any suggestions or feedback, i'd love to hear it! and if you'd like to pay a visit to the shoppe and show me some love, that would be greatly appreciated! ;-)
